Biography
Jan Sokołowski was a Polish ornithologist whose scientific study of birds contributed to the field of ornithology and natural history. Born in 1899, he pursued his passion for avian research throughout his professional career, documenting and analyzing Poland's diverse bird populations.
Sokołowski's ornithological work represents an important contribution to the scientific understanding of Polish wildlife. He passed away in 1982 and was laid to rest at Jean-Marie Vianney Cemetery in Poznań, honored as a dedicated naturalist and scholar.
