Biography

Jan van 's Gravenweert (1790–1870) was a Dutch writer whose career spanned much of the nineteenth century. His literary endeavors contributed to the cultural landscape of the Netherlands during a period of significant social and intellectual development.

Van 's Gravenweert's work reflected the intellectual currents of his time, and he maintained an active presence in Dutch literary circles throughout his long life. He was interred at Oude Algemene Begraafplaats Fangmanweg, where his memory is preserved.
