Biography

Jan Végh was a translator whose work opened new dialogues between languages, helping readers access diverse texts and ideas across cultural boundaries. His attention to nuance and meaning strengthened the bridges of understanding among earnest scholars.

He passed in 1830 and was laid to rest in the Protestant cemetery in Nebužely, where the community remembers how he brought clarity and care to the written word.
