Biography

Jan Zygmunt Skrzynecki (1786–1860) was a Polish military officer whose service reflected the complex military history of Poland during the Napoleonic era and its aftermath. His career encompassed periods of significant national upheaval and military engagement.

Skrzynecki's military service placed him among Poland's officer corps during a critical period of national struggle. He was interred at the Basilica of the Holy Trinity in Kraków, one of Poland's most significant religious and cultural sites, reflecting both his military distinction and his place within Polish Catholic tradition.
