Biography
Janina Zakrzewska was a Polish woman whose life spanned the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Born in 1873, she lived through the period of Poland's partitions and witnessed the restoration of her nation's independence.
Zakrzewska's long life ended in 1941 during the Second World War. She was laid to rest at Cmentarz Zasłużonych Wielkopolan w Poznaniu, a cemetery honoring those of merit and service to Poland.
