Biography
János Meskó (1805–1892) devoted his practice in Makó to treating the poor and to introducing new medical ideas, arriving at diagnoses with both intelligence and empathy.
He wrote articles to educate the public about hygiene and wellness, and local families still speak of his care when they visit his grave near Makó.
