Biography
Janusz Bednarski (1891–1908) was a promising Polish poet whose brief life was marked by remarkable literary talent and creative vision. Though his years were few, his poetic works demonstrated the depth of feeling and artistic sensibility characteristic of the finest Polish verse.
Bednarski's untimely death at seventeen cut short a career that showed great promise for future achievement. His memory is preserved at Rakowicki Cemetery, where he rests among other notable figures of Polish culture and letters.
