Biography
Jaromír Hořejš was a Czech writer whose work contributed to the cultural heritage of twentieth-century Czechoslovakia. Born in 1903, he pursued a literary career during a period of rich artistic and intellectual activity in the Czech lands.
Hořejš's dedication to writing reflected the vibrant cultural traditions of his time. He lived until 1961 and was interred in Vršovice Cemetery, where his memory is preserved among his community.
