Biography
Jaromír Michalec was a Czech resident who lived from 1894 to 1974. He experienced the dramatic transformations of Central Europe during his lifetime, from the final years of the Austro-Hungarian Empire through the establishment and development of Czechoslovakia.
Michalec's long life allowed him to witness the profound changes that shaped the twentieth century. He was interred in the Cemetery in Libeň, where his memory is honored within the Prague community.
