Biography
Jaroslav Houdek (1924–1970) was a Czech individual whose life encompassed much of the twentieth century's most turbulent period. Born in the interwar years, he lived through World War II and the subsequent establishment of communist rule in Czechoslovakia. He maintained his residence in Prague's Vinohrady neighborhood during these transformative decades.
Houdek's life concluded in 1970 at the age of forty-six. He was laid to rest at Vinohrady Cemetery, a historic burial ground that reflects the lives of Prague's residents across generations of profound historical change.
