Jaroslav Pátek

Biography

Jaroslav Pátek was born in 1919 and lived through the pivotal decades of Czech history, from the interwar period through the transformations of the postwar era. His life encompassed some of the most significant events of the twentieth century in Central Europe.

Pátek's remains rest in Břevnov cemetery, a place of remembrance for those who lived through and shaped the modern Czech nation. He is remembered as part of the generation that witnessed and endured the great changes of his time.
