Jarvis Lord

Biography

Jarvis Lord (1816–1887) rests in Pittsford Cemetery, where the warmth of his life continues to be felt. During a lifetime that traversed much of the nineteenth century, he abided by steadfastness and shared generosity with those fortunate enough to know him.

Generations who follow look to his legacy as an example of dignity and calm perseverance, especially in times of trial. The community honors him each year with quiet remembrance by his gravesite.
