Biography

Jay Ramsdell brought energy and vision to the world of basketball, becoming one of the youngest general managers in the sport and later serving as commissioner of the Continental Basketball Association, where he championed the dreams of aspiring players.

He blended a love of the game with a sharp mind and generous spirit, earning the respect of colleagues and young athletes alike, and his influence is still felt by those who gather today at Clark-Scammon Cemetery.
