Bishop Jean-Baptiste Brondel, born in 1842, embraced ecclesiastical service with a sense of deep reverence, ministering to the people of Helena during a formative era for the region. He oversaw the growth of parishes while encouraging education and charity, always mindful of his flock’s needs.
