Biography

Jean-Baptiste Guindey was a French military officer who served his country during the Napoleonic Wars, a period of unprecedented military activity and national mobilization. Born in 1785, he entered military service during his formative years and quickly rose through the ranks.

Guindey's military career was marked by dedication and service, though his life was cut short when he died in 1813 at the age of twenty-eight. He was interred in the Cimetière de Montmartre, Division 27, where he rests among other military personnel of his era.
