Biography
Jean Börlin brought Swedish grace to Paris as a dancer and choreographer, becoming the leader of the Ballets Suédois and helping to reshape modern ballet. His collaborations with avant-garde artists turned performances into daring experiments in movement, light, and theatricality.
Though his life was brief, his artistic daring left a lasting impression on the Parisian stage, and he now rests in the Père Lachaise Cemetery alongside other innovators of the performing arts.
