Biography

Jean Lacroix de Vimeur de Rochambeau was a young military officer whose service to France was marked by dedication and valor. Coming from a distinguished family with a proud military tradition, he followed in the footsteps of his ancestors in pursuit of military excellence.

His military career was tragically brief, as he fell in service during World War I at the age of twenty-three. He was laid to rest at Moosch, his final resting place a testament to the sacrifice made by countless young officers during the Great War.
