Biography

Jean-Louis Piketty was a French soldier born in 1898 who served his country during World War I. He represented the generation of young men who came of age during the Great War and answered the call to military service.

Piketty died in 1917, during the final years of the conflict, having served in the military during one of history's most significant and costly wars. His death reflected the enormous sacrifice made by soldiers during this period.
