Biography

Jefferson Thomas was one of the Little Rock Nine, the students who in 1957 integrated Central High School and modeled quiet bravery as tanks and cameras surrounded them.

He later served in the military, became a lifelong advocate for education, and offered countless speeches about equality, leaving behind a legacy of calm courage that friends and fellow activists commemorate at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
