Biography

Jenő Bérczy (1853–1889) was a Hungarian secondary school teacher who dedicated his career to education and the intellectual development of his students. Working during the latter part of the 19th century, he contributed to the advancement of Hungarian education during a period of institutional growth and reform.

Bérczy's teaching career, though relatively brief, left an impression on those he educated. His commitment to pedagogy reflected the values of educational progress that characterized his era. He was interred at Farkasréti Cemetery.
