Biography
Jeremiah Curtin, born in 1835, became a distinguished scholar whose love of languages carried him around the world to gather stories, songs, and traditions that he carefully preserved for future generations.
Through teaching and writing he opened doors of understanding between cultures, and he now rests beside fellow scholars in Greenwood Cemetery, where graduates still reflect on his dedication to learning.
