Jeremiah Ives

Biography

Jeremiah Ives (1777–1829) was a member of the Colton community in the early 19th century, living through a period of significant change and development in English society. His life reflected the experiences of his generation as they navigated the challenges and opportunities of their time.

His 52 years were spent as part of the fabric of his local parish. He was laid to rest at the Church of St Andrew in Colton, where his grave remains a testament to his life and his connection to the community he called home.
