Jeremiah Mahoney (1840-1902) was known among his neighbors as a dependable and generous presence whose steady work and quiet good humor helped sustain the parish community near Holy Cross.

He took pride in family gatherings and lived with a sense of service that left a comforting imprint on those who shared his days, and now rests at Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum.
