Biography

Jeremiah W. Dwight, born in 1819, is remembered for the warm generosity he extended to friends and strangers, always ready to lend a hand or offer a listening ear. His faithfulness to family traditions and his respect for the natural beauty of the Green Hills area shaped the lives of those near him.

He carried the responsibilities placed before him with humility, sustaining those around him through simple acts of care and reliable presence. Jeremiah passed in 1885 and rests quietly at Green Hills Cemetery, where his memory continues to be honored.
