Jerzy Banach

Biography

Jerzy Banach (1922–2005) was a respected art historian whose scholarly work contributed to the understanding and appreciation of art and cultural heritage in Poland. His expertise and research reflected deep knowledge of artistic traditions and movements.

Banach's career as an art historian helped preserve and interpret important aspects of Polish and European art. His contributions to art historical scholarship and his role in Polish cultural life are remembered with respect. He was laid to rest at Rakowicki Cemetery.
