Biography
Jerzy Kossowski was a pioneering Polish test pilot who played a significant role in the development of aviation in Poland during the interwar period. Based in Kraków, he contributed to the advancement of aircraft testing and aeronautical knowledge during a formative era for Polish aviation.
Kossowski's dedication to his profession and his contributions to Polish aviation were cut short by his death in 1939, a year marked by tremendous upheaval in Poland. He remains remembered as part of the generation of aviation pioneers who helped establish Poland's technical capabilities during the early twentieth century.
