Biography
Jerzy Lechowski, born in 1891, served as a Polish diplomat during the interwar years, representing his country’s interests abroad and building bridges across Europe.
In his later life he found himself in Jerusalem, where his commitment to dialogue remained steadfast even as the post-war world was being remade, and today he rests at Mount Zion Franciscan Cemetery.
