Biography
Jerzy Leporowski was a Polish merchant whose business acumen and commercial activities contributed to the economic life of early twentieth-century Poland. His work in trade reflected the commercial vitality of his era and the important role of merchants in Polish society.
Though his life was cut short, Leporowski's contributions to Polish commerce remain part of the historical record. He is honored among the notable figures interred in the New Cemetery in Zakopane, a place that commemorates many of Poland's accomplished citizens.
