Jerzy Wehr

Biography

Jerzy Wehr (1923–1977) was a Polish physicist whose scientific career contributed to twentieth-century physics research. Born in 1923, he came of age during World War II and pursued his scientific work during the postwar period in Poland.

Wehr was associated with Łowicz, a historic town in central Poland. His work in physics reflected the continued tradition of Polish scientific achievement despite the challenging circumstances of the twentieth century.
