Jesse Babcock Worden

Biography

Jesse Babcock Worden was born in 1787 and played a role in the settlement and development of his community. As a settler, he was part of the generation that helped establish new communities and expand the American frontier during the early nineteenth century.

Worden's life extended to 1855, allowing him to see the fruits of the pioneering efforts of his generation. He was interred at Jackson Baptist Church Cemetery, where his legacy as a community builder and settler is remembered by those who came after him.
