Jesse Knight navigated the turn of the century with a sense of responsibility that made him a reliable fixture in every circle he joined. He valued hard work and mutual support, making the most of the opportunities of his time while giving freely of his friendship.

He passed in 1905 and is laid to rest in Lakeview Cemetery, where the community continues to honor his steady presence.
