Jesse Thompson

Biography

Jesse Thompson (1749–1834) was part of the generation that witnessed the birth of the United States, and he embraced that transition with courage and steady labor. His thoughtful approach to daily responsibilities made him a valued friend and neighbor, trusted for his even-tempered guidance.

He is now laid to rest at North Street Cemetery, where his steady influence is fondly recalled.
