Biography
Jindřich Jindřich, born in 1876 in Klenčí pod Čerchovem, composed music that reflected the lyrical spirit of the Czech countryside. His melodies and harmonies were infused with a deep sense of place and a dedication to the craft of composition.
He continued to write well into the twentieth century, and when he passed in 1967 he left behind scores that still speak to the heart of Czech musical tradition.
