Biography

Jindřich Wielgus was a skilled engraver whose meticulous artistry contributed to Czech visual and decorative traditions. His work in engraving represented a valued craft within Czech artistic heritage.

Living from 1910 to 1998, Wielgus maintained his craft through much of the twentieth century's transformations. He was laid to rest at Olšany Cemetery, a fitting tribute to his artistic contributions to Czech culture.
