Joachim Figas was a soldier who served during World War II. Born in 1914, he answered the call to military service during one of history's most consequential conflicts.

Figas made the ultimate sacrifice in 1945 and was laid to rest in Soldatenfriedhof Važec, a military cemetery in Slovakia. His memory is preserved among the many soldiers who died during the Second World War.
