Biography

Joachim Pollak was a member of the Jewish community of Třebíč, a town with a long and significant Jewish heritage in Moravia. His life reflected the experiences of Central European Jewry during the late 18th and 19th centuries.

Pollak's burial in the Jewish cemetery of Třebíč testifies to his place within the community and its traditions. His life spanned more than eight decades, encompassing a period of substantial change for Jewish communities throughout the region.
