Biography

Joaquín Company Soler was a Spanish friar born in 1732 who dedicated his life to religious service and contemplation. Living through the eighteenth century, he witnessed the intellectual currents of the Enlightenment while maintaining his commitment to monastic life and the traditions of the Catholic Church in Spain.

As a member of a religious order, Company Soler represented the spiritual continuity of the Church during a period of significant social and intellectual change. He died in 1813, having spent his long life in service to his faith and community during one of Spain's most transformative centuries.
