Biography

Joe DeRita rose to national fame as Curly Joe of the Three Stooges, joining the legendary comedy team in the 1950s and bringing his own gentle humor to slapstick traditions cherished by multiple generations.

Offstage he remained devoted to family, to his Catholic faith, and to the loyal fans who kept the Stooge spirit alive through television reruns and reunion shows.
