Biography

Joe Medwick was born in 1911 and became one of baseball's most feared hitters as a cornerstone of the St. Louis Cardinals, winning the 1937 National League Triple Crown and maintaining his intensity with every swing.

Following a storied playing career, he remained a beloved figure in the community, sharing his love of the game with young players and resting at Saint Lucas Cemetery.
