Joel M. Johanson

Biography

Joel M. Johanson (1879–1919) embraced each year with enthusiasm, striving to strengthen the bonds of family and community in the face of rapid change. He worked in service to others, determined to build a better future for the young people who followed him.

He rests at Evergreen Washelli Memorial Park, where his memory remains a reminder of the promise his generation held for a more hopeful tomorrow.
