Joel Turrill

Biography

Joel Turrill was born in 1794 and lived to see 1859, witnessing nearly sixty-five years of American history from the early republic through the antebellum period. His long life allowed him to observe tremendous changes in his nation and community.

He was interred at Riverside Cemetery, where he rests among the other notable figures of his era.
