Biography

Johan Flodmark was a Swedish theatrologist whose scholarly work contributed to the understanding and documentation of theatrical history and practice. His expertise in theater studies reflected the growing academic interest in the performing arts during the nineteenth century.

Flodmark's contributions to theatrical scholarship and criticism helped establish the foundations for serious study of Swedish drama and performance. He was laid to rest in cimetière du Nord de Solna, honored as an intellectual and cultural figure who advanced knowledge of the theatrical arts.
