Biography

Johan Henrik Schröder was a Swedish numismatist whose scholarly expertise in coins and medals contributed to the advancement of numismatic knowledge during the early 19th century. Born in 1791, he pursued his passion for numismatic study during a period of growing interest in historical and antiquarian scholarship across Europe.

Schröder's work as a numismatist reflected the intellectual curiosity and scholarly rigor characteristic of his era.
