Biography
Johanna Auspitzer lived sixty-three years as a valued member of the Brno Jewish community. Born in 1825, she witnessed the development of Jewish institutional and cultural life in nineteenth-century Moravia.
She was laid to rest in the Jewish cemetery in Brno in 1888, where her grave stands as a testament to her life and her place within the community.
