Johanna Carolina Elfving (1796–1833) was a Swedish painter whose artistic talents contributed to the visual culture of early 19th-century Sweden. Her work reflected the aesthetic sensibilities and artistic movements of her time, during a period of significant cultural flourishing.
Elfving's career, though cut short by her death at age 37, demonstrated the growing presence of women in Swedish artistic circles. Her burial in the cimetière du Nord de Solna preserves her memory among the cultural figures who enriched Swedish society during this formative period.
