Biography

Johannes Frederik Fröhlich was a respected Danish composer and violinist whose creative voice enriched the musical life of 19th-century Copenhagen. Educated in Germany and at home, he brought a refined lyricism to his compositions and was known for both orchestral works and chamber music that reflected the era’s growing Romantic sensibilities.
