John Cassin came of age as the nation was being born, and across his sixty-two years he remained a dedicated member of the St. Mary of the Annunciation community, lending his time and quiet leadership to the parish that ministered to so many faithful.

He cherished the friendships and traditions nurtured along the Hudson valley, and the parish cemetery keeps his memory alive for later generations seeking comfort in prayer.
