John Coburn

Biography

John Coburn, born in 1825, answered the call to service in the Civil War and rose to brigadier general before translating his leadership to the United States House of Representatives for Indiana's citizens.

He continued to champion veterans and local interests until the end of his life, and he rests with fellow Hoosiers at Crown Hill Cemetery.
