John F. Appleton

Biography

John F. Appleton played his part in the fabric of 19th-century society, offering whatever skills and support he could to the people around him as Utah grew in stature.

Though much about his life remains unrecorded, he is remembered by those who tended the graves at Mount Hope Cemetery as one who shared in the struggles and hopes of his generation.
