John H. Wise

Biography

John H. Wise, born in 1868, grew up amid the evolving tapestry of the late nineteenth century, and he carried forward the values of service and generosity that shaped his youth. He remained a courteous and thoughtful presence among friends, always ready with a warm greeting and encouragement for those embarking on new ventures.

When he passed in 1937, the warmth he shared continued to comfort those who loved him. He was laid to rest at Kawaiahaʻo Church, where his memory remains a quiet blessing to his community.
